Blue is...

The palette of the bay captures the colors of the harbor and the sky. Blue is Billy Blue, True Blue, and Hey Blue. Blue is bluebells, lavender, and blue ribbons. It represents blue sky thinking and blue sky days. Blue symbolizes spring, immortality, and long life. Blue is the local artists' hue, evoking Sydney summers, and is beloved by sailors and swimmers alike.

Lavender Bay
A sublime combination of charm and convenience, Domain.com.au crowned Lavender Bay as Sydney’s most liveable suburb. ‘Stunning harbour views’, its unique village atmosphere, and rich living heritage with its proximity to schools, shops, cafes, and restaurants. Lavender Bay is connected to Sydney CBD and the northern suburbs with an extensive network of trains, buses, and ferries.
This iconic location was used as inspiration for the late Australian artist Brett Whiteley’s series of paintings depicting the marine beauty of Sydney Harbour. Wendy Whitely’s Secret Garden is situated on the bay’s foreshore – a wonderful public space for a walk through the lush, local garden paths.
