CHROFI

CHROFI, founded in 2000 after winning the international competition to redesign the TKTS booth in New York’s Times Square, is a Sydney-based studio celebrated for its strategic vision and evocative architecture. Under the guidance of directors John Choi, Tai Ropiha, and Steven Fighera, the firm delivers full-spectrum architectural services—spanning master planning to construction—through a unique blend of technical precision, imaginative design, and agile project management. With a philosophy that design should generate both private and public value, CHROFI seeks solutions that are both conceptually ambitious and functionally grounded. Their work is internationally renowned and highly awarded, delivering projects that enrich urban and community life—including landmark interventions such as The Goods Line, Riverlink, and North Head viewing platforms, the latter recognized with the NSW Architecture Awards’ Top Honour for its sensitive reinterpretation of cultural and environmental context.
